Segni® – grappa of tradition

Segni takes origin thanks to the combination of the long ageing of this special Grappa with the use of six different types of wood that form the batteries of barrels utilized for the ageing. This grappa best represents the liaison between the patient aging of the Piedmontese Grappa and the experience gained by the Mazzetti Family in the production of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Segni is an aromatic Grappa that follows a unique production process which provides the progressive transf er of the liquid through six barrels of descending capacity – from 100 to 1O liters – and of different woods tao: oak, chestnut, ash, cherrywood, mulberry and juniper. The result is the concentration of many and distinct flavors of the different woods that express the delicate balance between softness and temperament. Segni owns the body of an important aged grappa from which emerge scents of cherry, mulberry, vanilla and aromatic herbs. With its patient aging and its perfumes and aromas, this Grappa perfectly represents the production philosophy of the Mazzetti Family, devoted since almost 200 years to the quality.
