Crossing a Grignolino vineyard is an experience that can only be practiced in a specific area: the Monferrato between Casale and Asti. Here grows this ancient autochthonous grape variety strongly identifying, frank and unmistakably tannic. Its berries contain many grape seeds or “grignole” and the marc expresses in the distillate that derives pronounced and intense aromas, accompanied by a dry and persistent taste. A fiercely dry grappa, standard bearer of a grape called “blockhead”, which speaks, no ifs and no buts, of its territory of birth.
