Tall and narrow, the so-called “Tulip” glass is ideal for tasting young grappas, allowing the aromas of fresh distillation to be best appreciated.
The “Tulip” has a slender stem, the goblet short and rounded, with a slight flaring at the mouthpiece. The shape evokes, thus, the likeness of the flower with which such a glass was named. The “Tulip” opens slightly at the top and allows the correct distance between the nose and the Distillate to be maintained. The length of the stem facilitates the distance of the hand from the tip of the glass and defends the pure aromas of Grappa from any alterations.
